Try these:
Pry the cover off the small plastic circle in the center of the larger plastic circle located behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels. Insert the metal piece of the jack in the holes and crank up the car.
Jacking points on each sill near to each wheel. Under the spare wheel well also.

A Hyundai Santa Fe is reported by owners to need adapters when using jacks. The jack stands should be placed as directed by the factory on the jacking points.
The jacking points are the metal ribs specifically designed to safely lift the vehicle. On most vehicles, there are four jacking points. They're located under the car's rocker panels, just behind the front wheels, and just ahead of the rear wheels. You can check the car manual to find jacking points. If your Car feels a problem you must side your way to a safe position. Stop the car aside. Jack is used to lifting the vehicle up.

There are little dimples on each side front and back on the rocker panel.

There are only two jacking points on a 944, one each side about half way down. look along the sill for a diamond shape indentation to locate them. Chances are though that unless cared for, the jacking points could be rusted and will not be structurally sound.
