Try cleaning the Intake Manifold where the EGR valve is attached.
No. The F150 installation is longitudinal and the Freestar is not. That makes the manifolding incompatible.
It could be that the torque convertor is locked and not slipping which it should do as the normal operation

It is most likely the starter getting weak, when a weak starter is cold, it will not crank.
My guess would be the fuel pump. I dont know how to change it, because i havent had to replace the one on my truck yet, but i would guess the fuel pump.
The thermostat may be stuck open.
You have a fuel flow problem. Could be an injector, could be the automatic choke or the idler control valve, usually located on the manifold.
