id do it at 50,000 it cant hurt
I've always done mine a intervals of 30k miles
100,000
Recommended change is 100,000 miles
your owners manual will give you the recommended mileage as to when it should be changed, usually between 30 and 50,000 miles.
I don't think you can change it. I have a 1999 catera and my transmission fluid has to be changed at the dealer.
In fact I would advise against it on a high mileage transmission.
It depends on the engine type. On a 2.0 Petrol the recommended mileage to change the belt is 72,000mls, but you can always change it before.
60000 miles
its on the transmission it self no dip stick take it to a place where they change transmission fluid shop
change trans oil at 15,000 interval
3000 miles is safest
There is no dipstick to check the transmission fluid on a 1998 Cadillac Catera. It can be checked by opening the fill plug on the side of the transmission. If you are at that point you might as well change the fluid if you have over 70000 miles.
