Dealer $$$$$5 area.Next rebuilder range:$2700thru$4000.Last #3 This is what i did went to insurance salvage yard mines cost $1190 with 89,000 mi.This was same engine as my 03 cts 3.2 They gave me 1 yr warranty.Next installations @ cost of $560[shop around go with reliable mechs refferance] total $1750. last car has to go back to dealer to be reprogramed with new vin .Massey Cadillac Dallas charged me $280 while dealer had car they did 37 point insp. engine everthing cleared.My total out of pocket expense$2030.It"s all about choice.Be happy. PS my 3.2 03 cts had 186000 miles timing broke.went with low mi. engine instead of repair. Forgot to tell it car want crank unlist dealer reprogram
