Ok well, you must me mechanically incline.
In a 2003 Cadillac 5 cyl. you must remove the bar the supports the O2 sensors.
Remove the oil cooling lines out of the way of the oil pan, remove the motor mout bolts!
Remove or loosen the transmission cross member.
Totally remove the sway bar.
Remove the gear linkage bolt.
Remove the steering linkage bolts, and remove the outer tie rod bolts. Move the steering linkage out of the way of the oil pan, you must support and lift the transmission bell housing, in order to have more space for the oil pan! Loosen the rear bolts the support the frame! And remove the bolts of the oil pan (dont forget the rear bolt of the pan attached to the bell housing) then tap the pan with a rubber hammer, now that the oil pan is off, pry on the rear of the frame!! Work the oil Pan out and don't be surprise if there's is no pan gasket! They don't use a oil pan gasket! This procedure safes you the trouble of 8 to 12 hrs and having to drop the frame like the dealer procedure!
2003 cadillac cts has the oil pressure light on
You can tell the oil cooler is bad in a Cadillac CTS 2003 when oil is in the coolant and the water turns into a white muddy substance
make sure its the head gasket leaking and not the oil cooler. Are you getting oil in your coolaint? Oil coolers are a big problem in this car
Synthetic oil.....5W30 Mobil1 or valvoline
yes, but it has to be synthetic oil
because one of the head gasket is blow, or crack you have to replace both gasket and compression test the heads
