First off its a pretty big job. It can be made way easier with the use of a lift. You have to remove the front bumber assembly first and I'll let you know how. Go in your right and left front wheel well and remove 3 black pop tabs (those little plastic pieces used to hold on plastic parts on your car, the center pulls up about half an inch and then you pull the whole tab out). After that there are two 10 mm nuts just inside the black splash guard where it looks like the bumper mates with the fender. Loosen these longer nuts but don't take them off completely, then remove a screw closest to your tire behind the splash guard aswell. Do the same on the other side and then pull the whole bumper forward. The bumber assembly is held on by a large eye hole that tapers into a slim slot (like how you mount a hanging phone on a wall by screws, its the same style of slotted thing). The bumber is then only held on by the grill mounted to the inside of the hood. Pop the hood and remove the remaining six pop tabs at the top of the grill. Then go underneath the bumber and remove the other six pop tabs that hold on the skirt. Remove the bumber by pulling forward and unhooking the light connections and place the whole bumber on the ground. The light units are held on by three bolts that are 10 mm aswell remove these and then get your fingers around the light unit tightly. The last thing holding the light unit on is like a metal penis that inserts into a plastic socket, you need to pull hard to get it out, it's just an interference fit but don't pull too far out because there are wires you need to disconnect. Disconnect these wires and then you have the unit. there are two large twist lids at the back that look like the lids for a bottle of Tylenol for Arthritis sufferers just twist those a half turn off. Inside it looks like three screws hold the lightbulb in but you just have to push and turn the harness and they will come out. The harness just holds the bulb itself so be careful, and remember to not remove the small screws( I made that mistake) now replace your bulbs and assemble in reverse. Without a lift it took me three hours the first time. With a lift i did it last night in 1 hour and i was taking my time. Friday December 06 2008. This is for the non HID version and the low beams are in the projectors.
