To program the garage door opener on a 2010 Cadillac CTS, first ensure the vehicle is parked outside of the garage. Press and hold the two outer buttons on the HomeLink system until the indicator light changes from a slow to a rapid blink. Next, press and hold the button on your garage door remote while simultaneously pressing the HomeLink button you want to program. Release both buttons when the indicator light turns solid, indicating successful programming.

It may not be compatible, I believe GM is using their own universal remote system, not the "homelink" system, Marantec motors are only compatible with "homelink". You may be able to add an external module to the Marantec motor unit for the car remote to be programmable. For any escalade after 2006, it has a lear vs homelink. Even though there is a button on the Marantec garage door opener motor head with a P on it, this does not program the button. I just got off the phone with Lear, 866-572-2728, and as soon as I told them I had a 2007 escalade and a marantec opener, they said they would ship me a conversion module that plugs into an outlet and hooks up to terminal 3&4 on the opener. She said this would allow me to program my escalade homelink / lear button. Can't wait to get it in the mail and try it to see if it works!
