The professional should buy a variety of curling irons, because the type that the professional uses depends on the length of the customer's hair and the ultimate style the professional and the customer agree on. They can be electrical or non-electrical. Non-electrical curling irons require a thermal heating stove to heat them. Non-electrical curling irons can achieve a much higher temperature than electrical curling irons, and the professional must be careful that they don't burn the customer's hair. In order to test the temperature of a curling iron, they should be touched to a piece of white paper towel beforehand. If the paper towel scorches, the curling iron is too hot.
Yes you can take them. I would suggest putting it in your checked baggage.
Yes, it is probably safe to assume so. What makes chi flat irons of such high quality is the fact that they are made out of ceramic, not just metal, which is less damaging and more efficient. If the curling iron is also made out of ceramic then you are in business. Also, if you have course hair, be sure you get one that has a very high temperature setting, at least to 400 degrees.
many things can make hair dry. - to much use of curling irons, or straighteners, or other irons - dying hair to much (ESPECIALLY BLEACHING!) - teasing hair( im not sure if it makes it dry, but i know its not good for it) - shampooing your hair everyday. you should shampoo every other day - straightening or curling hair when its wet and many more things. to keep hair moisturized, do weekly hot oil treatments, and get a shampoo and conditioner that is good for repairing damaged hair. i really like panteen products.
You know Ping Irons are authentic by looking at the hosel. It should have a serial number. Then contact Ping and ask for the specs from the serial number.

Hair flat irons are more commonly know as hair straighteners. Hair straighteners are the same as flat irons but more up to date and come in many different sizes, colors, and designs.

Certain flat irons are designed to be used on wet hair for convenience. I don't know about the sedu specifically, but I know that Croc and Hana both have flat irons that were designed with this use in mind. If I remember correctly, the Croc is called "wet to dry", and I think both Hana irons were designed to work on both wet and dry hair.
