If you really want to do it , then you will give up your time & do it. Gymnastics is a great sport ,, ive done it for 2 years & i love it.
I have this exact same problem! I do soccer, swimming, softball, tennis, and track but my real passion is gymnastics. If you love something sometimes you have to make sacrifices. i had to give up softball so i could improve at gymnastics. Try to do gymnastics in between sports you just can't live without, and before you want to get involved in something new ask yourself if it's really worth it or you think you will love it as much as gymnastics. I know it's hard to do this and possibly give up something you have been working at for a long time but trust me its worth it. i have improved so much at gymnastics it's a really great sport. If you absolutely can't give up anything condition yourself until in between sports when you can do gymnastics. practice floor skills on carpet or grass, do push ups or practice the spits. It will pay off I promise. Good luck with gymnastics! I agree with practicing the splits, they are VERY VERY important. A lot of gymnastics involves the splits. If you plan on getting into gymnastics seriously, i would recomend push ups as well. If you plan on doing just tumbling (things on floor) then you should probably do more of leg strengthing things. Gymnastics is a very big commitment (speeling?), and a great sport! My sisters and I are involved in it and we all LOVE IT!!!! :) I know u will love it if you choose to go with gymnastics! (The difference between gymnastics and tumbling is that gymnastics involves balance beam, bars, vault, and floor. Tumbling is more of things just on floor.)
Yes, if you're on a competition team. You are competing against other gymnasts who want to win.
Yes, there often is. Some sports (listed below) have advantages to those who are thinner or weight less. As a result, those who want to succeed in that sports are more prone to developing an eating disorder. Some of those sports are... *Dance (especially ballet) *Gymnastics *Diving *Figure Skating *Cheerleading
cuzzz it want it to be
i want to know
You go to a gymnastics gym, with a certified coach or spotter.
no, gymnastics isn't necessary for dancing. unless you want to learn it, it is not important.
No but you shouldn't worry about that. It'll keep you healthy and protect you against guys you don't want in the future. Sports that are attractive are like figure skating, tennis, golf. Not gymnastics though. All girls that do gymnastics will develope broad shoulders that unnaturally big.
Many divers are ex-gymnasts. Both sports require a similar control over your body as you twist and turn. Really, you can do whatever you want, but if you're looking for a sport similar to gymnastics without all the wear and tear on joints, Diving is the most compatible.
How does she not shes awesome i admire her and i want to be just like her i love gymnastics and Shawn Johnson:)
Well, basically no other sports help if you want to work on dribbling. But kickball and football help with your kicking.
