It is better to hit with your hands together on your stick. When ever i hit with my shoulder people go flying, but it is easier to get called. so it is safer to hit with your hands.

I believe lacrosse was named lacrosse because the head of the stick (the pocket/net) is called la Crosse in french. France, England and Eastern Europe is where it originated out of and so the name stuck.

the only one i know is that lacrosse is the fastest game on two feet but i am looking for some too. The french called it "jeu de la crosse" lacrosse is a fast game, in which the players wear full American football pads, along with elbow guards, gloves, and a stick that is usually about 3 or 6 feet long.
