My mate was recently there said it was great. I recommend you take a shortboard and a Gun. Most of the reefs here are very shallow, making them heavy, bring a few spare leggies.

Well there are a few types of ways of surfing. The one everyone usally calls surfin adn refers to is stand up surfing. This even has its catogories such as ,shirt board, longboard, mall, minimal, fiberglass and wood. Then we have Bodyboarding this is where u lay or DK(dropknee) of a soft foam or pp or pe board and ride the wave and poform aeirals. These two types are the main types of surfing in todays society. There is also ,kite surfing, wind surfing ,kneeboarding, body surfing and that's about it. Go for a surf im sure you will enjoy it. be carefull. Another way of surfing is sand surfing, which is sufing in the desert on steep dunes. I think sand surfing is also surfing along the edge of the water at a beach, which is very fun.
