yes i think it would.
Another opinion:It all depends on the environment in which they are trained and what they are aiming for. If they are trained by experienced or qualified boxing trainers they will be coached into learning discipline. They will also be entered into competitions in which they can focus on to acheive titles and win prize money.in their backyard no seriously, why would you want to do that?
Basically its person who has a compulsion to work excessively hard and long hours
A "holic" of something means that a person would be addicted to something. For example, an alcoholic would be someone who is addicted to alcohol. Shopaholic, addicted to shopping, and so on.
Duh! Boxing makes way more money then tennis because boxing has alot of contact and you could get very badly injured if your not careful unlike tennis where your just hitting a ball back and forth to each other which is so borng and in boxing you get to take out all your anger and fustration on the person your are fighting against. Last, boxing makes $3.3m every fight and tennis make like $20,000 which one would you rather have? Feel free to ask me more questions ill be here all day!
If they are good at it, you can call them an artist. There doesn't seem to be a name for people who are addicted to painting. There are people who are addicted to painting specific things, such as people addicted to applying nail polish. These things would fall more into compulsions, since they are not dangerous activities and don't directly harm others. Then there are people addicted to inhaling paint. Those would be huffers and inhalant abusers, and that is a serious addiction.
Better for what? Street fighting? Cage Matches? If you want to box, boxing is best. If you wish to participate in MMA fighting, that would certainly be the training to go for. If you are looking for the best self defense, I would say MMA, but note that training MMA with the rigid rules might not be as effective as the study of a non-competitive martial art.
You would call them veteran!
there would be boxing anymore
Anyone can become emotionally addicted to anything if they associate that thing with happiness. Hot Cheetos are an intoxicating mixture of carbohydrates, fat, and calories that would be compelling to any neurological system.
They would most likely treat the person bad because why would they be doing this to themselve? it is very harsh of them to do that. That's what i think but I dont know if its right or wrong.
During the first world ward, the people left at home would box up any Christmas gifts or cookies...anything left over from the Christmas season and send it off to their loved ones fighting in the war...so we have Boxing Day
No, secondhand smoke will not cause a person to become addicted but it will damage your body just like you are the one smoking. It will hurt your lungs, heart, and cause you to have a faster heart rate.
