Well i can't say their is one but i will give you the really op guns: DSR-50 its says 'hi i'm a wannabe sniper!' real badass snipers use the ballista. scorpion EVO gets annoying because if you don't have an R870 MCS at close range your gonna die certainly. Peacekeeper is a Hellraiser because i've been a sniper since cod3 and I know that an smg should not reach across the map like an mk48 and deal death as quickly as an m27.I mentioned I was a sniper since cod3 because i get pwnd by Hellraisers while I'm at least 45 meters away!
Well, one of the first things you would have to think about is WHICH military you are thinking about.... every military uses a different variation of firearms due to the fact that they would need specific types and models of firearms for specific jobs. Many of the choices of firearms are of simple military preferences. But (I'm only assuming this, because it would be most logical) for the USA's military, there is a vast variation of firearms being used today. The most popular one, and known to many, is the M16. But the M16 is no longer widely used in combat today, due to previous problems. therefore, the more advanced versions of the M16 such as the M4A1 and the CAR-15 (more than this) are being used today. Of course this is not the only thing. I will list out a range of the most popular American firearms in their classes. Assault Rifles: -M4/M16 series - ACR, SCAR, Styer AUG, FAMAS, TAR and more (possible for future use, and/or current use for elite military groups) and more Machine Guns: -M249 SAW -M60 (and variations) -MK48/46 and more Pistols: -Colt M1911 (one of the most popular) -Beretta M9 and more SMG: -MP5 series -UMP series -possibly the P90 and more (UZI is also possible) Sniper Rifles: -L96 series -M24 -Cheytac M200 Intervention -Barret 50 Cal (many models and types) and more this is only a small list, but you can easily google any of those guns or google modern firearms of a specific military... THANKS FOR READING!!! hope this helped :D
Generally speaking while the torpedo's explosive package does do damage, most are designed to explode very close to the target boat and create a "void" in he water causing the ship to buckle under its own structural pressure. In other words, it makes a HUGE bubble under the boat and it sinks. Torpedoes are set to detonate at a certain range and depth; ideally at the centre of a ship. The blast created lifts the ship at this point before the downward movement from the 'void' breaks the spine of the ship. Torpedoes do not actually 'hit' a ship. The torpedo does not actually "hit" a ship because it explodes underneath the vessel. This creates steam (essentially) in enormous amounts of pressure that lifts up the ship and smacks it back down, while at the same time the explosion is striking the ships hull. This is why, in videos, you see the ship being lifted upward and dropped. One slight exception is the MK 48 using CBASS, which gives the operator a choice to strike the target or explode underneath. We'd use the strike method if there is not enough metal on the ship (fishing boats, modern aluminum made structures etc). This is usually detected by either visual confirmation or a weak acoustic signature if a submarine goes active. The MK48 is also used on surface ships (I have no experience with their systems as I was a bubblehead). My last command was the USS HARTFORD, I retired from the Navy as STSC(SS/AW). Anchors Aweigh!
