Because she had to learn how to do it all over again
Because her parents are die-hard surfers and, according to Bethany, surfing is "her passion" and "way of life"
Yes. Surfing is her passion and has been since she was born, for her parents are die-hard surfers and have been for their whole life
Bethany Hamilton overcame her challenges by relying on her faith, determination, and support system. Despite losing her arm in a shark attack, she refused to let it limit her and continued to pursue her passion for surfing. Through hard work and perseverance, she became an inspirational figure in the surfing community, showing that anything is possible with the right mindset.
Ever since she was 4 years old. But surfing has been in her ever since she was a baby, for her parents were the same way.
Her parents (and of course, older brothers) are die-hard surfers and she's been in the ocean for as long as she can remember.
It was hard for her at first, but now she has gotten over it. Despite all odds, she still continued her life-long dream of surfing, even with one arm, due to her never-ending spirit and undying support from her loving family
Since she was only 4 years old, for both of her parents are die-hard surfers
Her parents were die-hard surfers and she's been in the water for as far back as she can remember, so it was sort of in her blood
If the book is anything like the movie (too often, that's not the case), then the theme of the book is that what we often think of as important or the be-all end-all really isn't that crucial sometimes and that what we're meant to do is often different than what we think it is, so keep your mind and your heart open. That's what I got from it anyway. I think a secondary theme is also that if you want something, truly know why you want it and keep working smart, not only hard, to achieve it, despite taking some bumps along the way. If anyone thinks I'm wrong, please feel free to improve my answer.
Well she was born into a religious family, so she has always been religious, just like she's always been a die-hard surfers for her own parents have been die-hard surfers their whole life
If you have the right teacher and some natural ability, surfing is not hard to learn. A lot depends on the person that is learning and the teaching style of the teacher.
