Shawn Michaels lost the match against Undertaker at Wrestlemania 26, which resulted in him having to give up his career. The match with Undertaker was a "streak vs career" match. Basically HBK (Shawn Michaels) would break Undertaker's 18-0 wrestlemania streak if he won, and if Undertaker won, HBK would give up his Wrestling career.
Personally I believe this was planned because HBK was starting to get tired of wrestling. He's now 45 years old, and has suffered many injuries including the back injury which put him out of action for four years, and numerous knee injuries, in his 25 years long career. 25 years is a lot. Literally over half of his entire life. Shawn Michaels is certainly one of the best wrestlers in the history, both in and outside the ring, but everything has to end once...
I recommend you make sure to be in Atlanta on April 2, 2011 when Shawn Michaels will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. I will surely be there! =)
No - Bret Hart is done with wrestling. After his stroke years back. He is now on Broadway acting actually.
Not now as Shawn Michaels has retired.
he is not that old
He isn't,he is retired now.
He's 43 right now.
he did not retire he screwed up and said u and me undertaker wrestle mania and Shawn michaels being as stupid as he is (in a good way ^_^) he imattated the undertaker and undertaker won against Shawn michaels (now undertaker is 16-0) so Shawn michaels lost and he had to quit
Shawn Michaels has retired but is now going to Wwe Hall Of Fame in 2011
no he is in negotiations with tna right now
Working on his Ranch and filming a hunting show
No. Shawn Michaels isint even going to beat him if he did. Now move out of my way, punk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His kids are fairly young right now so if they did it wouldn't be for another 10 years probably. But the kids don't really watch wrestling so it's doubtful they will.
He's taking a well deserved vacation
