When a simply supported beam is subject to bending; the top of the beam will be subject to compression, and the bottom of the beam will be subject to tension (think about the bottom of the beam stretching as it bends i.e. tension). Concrete is strong in compression but weak in tension, so steel reinforcement is added to allow it to resist this tension and carry bending sufficiently.
Note: bars are generally added to the compression side too but that's for another day.

It depends on the stress/load applied to a beam, but a general rule is to provide a lap where the stress is the least. In a simply supported beam with a uniformly distributed load the best place to position laps would be away from the centre of the beam.
You place your bottom on a flat, level surface; and put your weight on it. It's that simple.
the top reinforcement of beam (compression face of beam). it is provided to hold the stirrups in place.
yes, we can learn without reinforcement. Insight Learning, Place & Latent Learning, and Observational Learning occurs without any reinforcement. Did i miss out any? Please add if there is more..
It comes from The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. It was said by Presumption who was at the bottom of the hill after Christian goes to the Place of Deliverance (the Cross) and has his burden released. Presumption is at the bottom of the hill fast asleep with Simple and Sloth.
The way I would prepare a simple hamburger is place the burger on the bottom part of the bun. Spread ketchup, mustard, etc. on the top bun and place it on top of the burger. If you want toppings on your burger, before you place the top bun on the sandwich, layer cheese, tomato slice, onion slice, and lettuce. Then place the bun on top.
A fairly simple one. First, push the front seats as far forward as you can. Get in the vehicle and center yourself in front of the rear seat. Place both hands on top of the seat bottom and as you push hard down..also push backwards. The seat should dislodge from the two retainers holding the bottom of the seat in place. keep trying as this takes a bit of finessing to get the procedure down. To reinstall the bottom...simple place the seat in and push back and down until you feel the seast engage back into the slots.
Confining reinforcement refers to reinforcement that is applied in such a way that it "confines" the concrete within it to provide increased strength and deflection capabilities. Confining reinforcement is used in both beam and column designs. In columns, spiral or helix reinforcement is implemented through the column, spiraling from top to bottom, with vertical longitudinal bars running through the inside of the helix. This prevents the concrete's diameter becoming larger under the applied load leading to failure. In correct terms it prevents the poisson's effect within the column. In beams the confining reinforcement is generally place within the compressive region of the beam. This can be utilised to increase the yield deflection of the beam as well as the yield and ultimate loads. This is a good option for increasing the ductility of high strength concrete beams which would normally fail in a brittle manner.
No it wil float to the top of the water.
Are you talking about the bottom of a place or a book or movie called the bottom? I don't know if ducks can be in the bottom of anything.
If she suddenly dashes from the bottom to another place, and then drops back to the bottom of the tank, and continues to dash from place to place, in all probability she is giving birth.
