Change was needed, but some changes were made as a result of an advancement in technology.

Some changes (and the reason they were implemented) include:

  • More powerful racquets/strings (a result of improved technology; allows for easier hitting by the players)
  • Chase review (to challenge calls made on the court; people make mistakes)
  • More money (more fans of tennis)
  • More tennis tournaments (to allow more players to have a chance of winning)
