why don't 15 teams from each conference leave their arena for half of the season and live on the other side and play teams they never get to play more than once a season? Then the other half of the season switch. Don't say it's money! I think the NHL is worried the eastern division will chew up the western division thru the season, and there wouldn't be enough fans to vote for their losing teams. I'm a fan of the original SIX and the way it's set up we will never again see any of these teams play for the cup.
