Yes. Some cats (feral cats) like to swim like tigers. Housecats may actually like to swim, too. Maybe in a sink but NEVER put him/her in a pool. It may drown. In my experience with my youngest cat, he seemed to like to swim in the sink when he was a kitten.

Well, they are sport dogs and are commonly used as bird dogs too. They are energetic and love playing. Most do like to swim, and with their webbed feet, it makes them really good at it! They are very active and especially like fetch (which can be played in water!).
she usually was too fat to swim
All dogs have webbed feet, so all dogs can swim. Many choose not to. Firste step is seeing other people swim and how thier body acts in the waters inorder to swim and survive in the waters. 2nd if you think the swimming techniques that you are seeing is too hard, just keep practising a swimming technique that you like and you will be able to swim. i learnt how to swim in my holidays in germany with my cousins i only followed there moved and in 2-3 days i was swimming a novice like, in 2 metertes.
