To lift the parachute up people carry light weights in it. So if light weights are needed to lift the parachute up heavy weights will fall the parachute quicker.
Well its depending on the MASS of the seed or how many seeds you added to your parachute. But if not, try doing a fair test for you parachute. But you'll never can make a seed drop down quicker. It depends on GRAVITY too. Gravity is invented by Isaac Newton. Many sad the apple drop on his head and he got the idea of gravity, but that was wrong. The apple drop next to him.If this does not help you go to my email. Tristan66ko@hotmail.com
The man with a small parachute will fall faster.
If the parachute is too small, then the load it is carrying will fall faster, the same thing is with big parachutes. If it is medium sized it will fall at a desirable rate than a larger or smaller parachute.
Parachutes are designed to catch the air therefore slowing you down on impact. If there happened to be a hole, the air passes through it, making your impact to the ground faster.
Because of gravity
Is not a simple problem. its a differential equation, non linear. for a given force on the parachute, which is equal, say half the value of the lightest' s weight, the accelerations might be 25 % more of the heaviest if it is double the weight
This is because the parachute will trap air underneath it and so the force of air resistance will increase, and it will take longer to fall. The bigger the air resistance the quicker the terminal velocity is reached.
Because the parachute is catching the air, slowing down the fall
plummeted means to fall from a plane and not to have a parachute that will protect you from hitting the ground to hard.
a parachute will save your life because you land properly and you dont fall face first plus the wind will contriol the parachute
We did a parachute experiment at school, and we investigated 2 variables. They were the canopy size and the material of the canopy. We found that the bigger the canopy, the slower the parachute will go. Also, the lighter the material, the slower it will go. Well if you use house hold materials you could use a grocery bag , string , and a paper cup to put things in and you'll also have to use a knife to put holes on please have an adult with you. warning- don't put any thing over 3 pounds in the paper cup. OR. Heat rises so if you put a candle at the bottom the parachute could stay in one place or actually RISE!
