A professional golfer would get hundreds of pairs of trousers every year from their clothing sponsor, the more pairs they wear the more they can show off that company's range. Tiger Woods has an agreement with Nike that he tells them which clothes he is going to wear every day of a big tournament and then the can sell them as 'Tiger's Saturday outfit' etc.
Unfortunately Tiger Woods is not unbeatable and he doesn't win every tournament that he enters, it just seems that way.
