Ferguson began a seven-year boycott of the BBC in 2004, after the showing of a documentary called Father and Son, which "portrayed his agent son, Jason, as somebody who exploited his father's influence and position to his own ends in the transfer market". In spite of new rules in place which required him to end his boycott, he refused to do so for the entirety of the 2010-11 season, and only ended the boycott at the outset of the 2011-12 season.

∙ 14y agoThey did this documentary a couple of years ago, it basically said that his son Jason, who is an agent, broke FIFA rules in player transfers. He used to mingle with them on the training pitch and then sell them etc. Sir Alex did not like the expose.
