Why do you shower after swiming?

To rinse off all chlorine that can make your skin itchy and dry. If you swim often, using a swim shampoo and conditioner could help keep your hair nice. I'm a swimmer and I've had problems with the chlorine in the pool but a thorough shower after you swim should do the trick.
