denouncing is to put someone down but to announce is to say something out loud.
it probly denpends on who it is but id say 100,000 a year if realy good
I would imagine that the majority of golfers would say it is the social aspect and the banter, however some may say it is being in the heat of competition playing against a game you will never beat. Some may also say it is the ability to get out in the fresh air for a few hours. But some may say it is a chance to get away from the wife or husband.

Virtually all professional golfers have a zero or better handicap, by the USGA standards. I'd bet that very many of the pros at better golf clubs are probably in the single digits - if I had to give a number, I'd say that perhaps 5,000 or so golfers have an official USGA handicap in the single digits.
