because it takes an long time to play this game
My personal opinion is that cricket is a game and not a sport..... its too tame to be a sport and even tamer to be on the olympic stage.... Well then you just stand by the stumps & I'll get someone to bowl a cicket ball at you at 80 mph & then tell me it's too tame... but that doesn't disbar your opinion. But you wont even see the ball coming..... you'll not be surprised to read I think cricket is a great game, sorry Sport !
They Olympics committee decided to make it an olympic sport in 1994 so it first appeared in the 1998 winter games. Then they just had slalom and halfpipe though
No it should be though
no 1996 was though.
Yes, being a felon does not disqualify your husband or you from getting food stamps.
A medical condition such as that would disqualify you for enlistment, let alone becoming a sniper.
We sure do. No medals though.
Even though it's not the national sport, cricket is by far the most popular sport.
NO. Cricket was never introduced in Olympics. Though, it was introduced in Commonwealth games held in 1997 in Malaysia.
Here are 2 reasons : 1. The Olympics sports were selected by and for European countries ,that's also why there's a winter Olympics as well 2.England and the Cricket world has not made any effort to be a part of the Olympics before. This could change as some cricketers are seeing the wisdom of being in the Olympics and there is even an online petition at Cricket2012Games to get Cricket into the 2012 Olympics. Cricket was featured in the 1900 Olympics and even though it is the second most popular sport in the world, only two teams competed, England (Gold) and France (Silver).
Crickets hear though their knees ! (Yeah - strange but TRUE !)
No cricket does not overshadow other games, though cricket is the one of the most popular game, but we cannot say that it overshadows the others. Different people have different choices. There are many who prefer other games over cricket.
