they are not a bad team its just the reason they lost alot of games was because their bullpen stinks. other than that, batting line up and starting pitchers are a-list.
I'm not sure whom the answer is, but the San Francisco Giants NEED to make a trade for a hitter at either 1st, middle infield or outfield. If the Giants don't make a move, they'll be losing close games until missing the playoffs by a game. More importantly, all the dominant arms will go to waste without a savoir at the plate. Easy Trade bait for the Giants are Winn, Lewis, Sanchez, Howry, Burris, Frandsen, Velez and even some coveted young farm prospects, if need be. This year's Giants team has the potential to surprise teams come playoff time. What team could ignore a starting rotation that features Lincecum, Cain and Big Unit? Add a loaded bat in the middle lineup and it has the looks of a serious contender. It's an absolute must for the Giants to make the playoffs, so good or bad, the move will be supported. Sean Egan
As of 2012, they are the current Super Bowl Champions.

Alaska's 1964 Good Friday Earthquake measured 9.2 on the seismograph which is the third largest earthquake in recorded history and the 1906 San Francisco earthquake only recorded a magnitude of 7.9 on the Richter Scale. That means that the Alaska quake was more then 10 times as bad as the San Francisco quake which killed over 3,000 people.
What I meant was WAS Francisco Pizzaro a bad man! My bad :P

San Francisco and the Bay Area are at risk of powerful earthquakes because they sit on the tectonic boundary between the Pacific Plate and the North American Plate, known as the San Andreas Fault. This fault is capable of producing major earthquakes, posing a significant threat to the region due to its high population density and extensive infrastructure. Additionally, the soft soils and reclaimed land in some parts of the Bay Area can amplify the shaking during an earthquake, increasing the potential for damage.
Yes they beat them bad.
