Tons of tennis would like to how the ball bounces on different types of court surfaces. Becuase of the surface a player will have to change his/her gameplain to fit the surface. So basically anyone playing tennis seriously.
it would be classed as out
There are 3 kinds of tennis surfaces. Clay\Hard\Grass Clay Courts : This is a slow court and hence ball bounces high . Reason : Clay exerts a lot of friction against the ball's horizontal movement and hence the ball bounces high. Hard\Grass: These are fast courts. Reason: Less friction is exerted against the ball's horizontal movement and hence the ball bounces less. It is difficult to return slices in these courts. Technically Grass bounces less than hard. To understand the bounce: imagine what would happen when you CUT the ball using a rough surface(table tennis bat) vs a piece of glass. The result is obvious ; TT bat bounces the ball higher than glass.
penn, Wilson, dunlop and gamma all bounce good, but I would say that penn bounces the best
it depends how hard the ball hits the ground a basketball would deffinetly bounce higher than a tennis ball
Yes. Let's say it bounces on cement. It bounces high and hits the surface perfectly. However, if you were to bounce it on something like carpet, it would either bounce less high, or not bounce at all. This would be due to the fact that the carpet has padding so the ball would not be able to push off of a hard surface because carpet isn't usually hard.
Your question is worded weird but, if the court is made of clay, the ball would bounce better than a dirt court, so it affects how well the ball bounces
no
If by what you mean is are you allowed to hit the return before it bounces - NO.
I believe the tennis ball would bounce the highest if you were to put equal force on each ball and throw it to the ground.I don't know exactly why, but I tested this once, and it seems the tennis ball bounces the highest because of the fact that it has the most air pressure inside of it.
the type of bouncy ball that bounces the highest our golf balls but that is only on hard surface other wise it would be your standard bouncy ball out of the machines that are 50 cents(:
Pour water in the hole, that way the tennis ball would float up to the surface so you can retreive it.
Yes, this is because when the tennis ball is in a heated environment warm air enters through the ball and because the temperature gets higher, the tennis ball would get bigger. When the tennis ball is bigger it would bounce higher.
