Dennis Dixon, who played as a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, wore the number 2 jersey during his time with the team. He is not associated with the number 5 jersey. The number 5 has been worn by other players in the Steelers' history, but not by Dixon.
I think he wore number 11.
Defensive end Dwight White wore #78 for the Steelers between 1971-1980.
WR Limas Sweed wears #80 for the Steelers, but you won't see him in the Super Bowl because he's on injured reserve.
There was no player on the Steelers that wore the number 8 in 1975.
Antwaan Randle El wore #82 for the Steelers from 2002-2005 and then again in 2010.
Willie Reid wore number 15 for the Steelers in 2007.
Bobby Maples played between 1965-1978 for the Houston Oilers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Denver Broncos. While he was with the Oilers his jersey number was 50. As far as the Steelers and Broncos are concerned I do not know what jersey number he wore.
In 2011, no Steelers player wore #8.
In 2010, no Steelers player wore #39.
Erric Pegram wore number 20 for the Steelers in 1995 and 1996.
