No ... so far (August 7) Mexico has won 5 medals, 3 silver and 2 bronze. The silvers came in women's synchronized platform diving, men's synchronized platform diving, and women's individual archery. The bronzes came in women's springboard diving and women's individual archery.

Diving debuted at the 1904 Games in St. Louis. There was one event, men's springboard, and was won by George Sheldon of the United States. Men's platform was added at the 1908 Games in London. Women began competing in diving at the 1912 Games in Stockholm.
Through the 2008 Games in Beijing, Matthew Mitcham has won 1 Olympic medal ... a gold in men's platform diving at the 2008 Games.
