In order to receive tickets for the Australian Open tennis championships you have to become a member of there website. Then you can purchase them. Tickets go on sale in early October.
According to the official Australian Open Tennis Championships website (refer to the link, below), as of May 29, 2009, information concerning tickets for the 2010 event have not been released, yet.
In tennis, the four grand slams are the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, and the U.S. Open.
