Robby Gordon replaced him that weekend at Talladega. I believed he wrecked the car. I know after that Ernie Irvan opted out of his contract with Morgan McClure ( #4 Kodak Chevy) and signed on with Robert Yates to drive the #28. He finished the season with two victories and a pole in the car.

I have one of them & it was first premiered at Bristol Spring race along with a Bill Elliot edition. I got my car 2 weeks before Davey died.
