spin the ball across your body
Three things affect the trajectory of a curve ball: Coriolis effect, gravity and precession AKA spin drift.
It depends on the situation. You can throw a curve ball on the first pitch to get ahead but make sure you are hitting the corners and you don't make a habit of it because you will tip off hitters and they will set on the pitch. Also you can throw a curve ball when you are 0-2. If you have a good curve and a hard one you can attempt to throw it for a strike or if it's not that good you can throw it in the dirt and try to get the hitter to "fish" for it. If you throw it in the dirt and there is someone on base make sure you have a catcher who can lock it so there won't be a passed ball allowing the runner to advance to the next base.
If he is skilled enough
it drops there because when you throw a slow ball it will dorp there too.also when you throw a curve, you put top spin on it and a curve is slow too and if you want to hit it you are goin to have to watch it all the way and then hit.
It depends which way he is throwing the ball. If he is twisting his wrist he could hurt his elbow and end up seriously injured. Only adults should twist their wrist when throwing a curve ball. There is a way to throw a curve ball without hurting your arm though. What you do is you get your grip on the baseball and throw the ball like a football. I throw my curves this way and they are pretty nasty.
Fastball, circle-change, curve ball, cutter
First, have a strong arm. If you want to throw it efffectivally than a strong arm is good. This curve drops more tan curve but anyways, have a 2 seam grip with pressure on the middle finger. Then whip it sidearm is right when it reaches the batter it drops like a mother.
