Many, many people have run a 5 minute mile. It is not even an accomplishment in the competitive running community. It has been accomplished since people began running the mile.

The first 4 minute mile was run by Roger Banister.
The first ever sub-four minute mile was run by Roger Bannister on May 6th, 1954.
That was Don Bowden on June 1, 1957 with a time of 3:58.7 at Baxter Stadium on the campus of the University of Pacific
It depends on how fast the kid naturally runs. If they run really fast, it might be a 60 second half mile. If they run slow, it might be a 2-3 minute mile
Nobody has run a sub-minute mile. Nobody is anywhere near that!
