James J Jeffries, Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano ---- Louis lost to Max Schmeling in 1936 before he ever became champ and Jeffries was TKOed in the 15th round by Jack Johnson in 1910, six years after he retired the first time. Other than Marciano, I don't know of any. Rocky Marciano is the only heavyweight champion to retire UNDEAFETED, however the only 3 heavyweight champions to retire having DEFEATED all there opponents are Gene Tunney, Rocky Marciano and Lennox Lewis, whilst Lewis was defeated by McCall and Rahman, he avenged the defeat's in rematches, so hence "he defeated all his opponents".
