General Mark Wayne Clark was an American general during World War II and the Korean War. On October 13, 1942, Clark became the US Army's youngest ever three-star general. Clark was commanding general of the U.S. Fifth Army and given the task of training units for Operation Avalanche - the invasion of Italy on September 3, 1943. General Clark was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, the second-highest U.S. award for valor in combat, for his front-line leadership.

Mark Clark (Black Panther) was an Illinois Black Panther leader who was killed by FBI and Police along with Fred Hampton in an infamous raid in the early morning hours of December 4, 1969. Mark Clark started the first Free Breakfast Program for Children in his hometown of Peoria, Illinois. It is believed Clark and Hampton, as well as other Black Panthers, were murdered to prevent the rise of a Black Messiah.

Mark Willard Clark (former Major League Baseball Player) debuted on September 6, 1991, for the St. Louis Cardinals. He is now retired.
