Luke Appling (born April 2, 1907 in High Point, North Carolina; died January 3, 1991 in Cumming, Georgia) was an American Baseball player who played for Chicago White Sox between 1930 and 1943, and from 1945 to 1950.
He was a seven-time All Star, and the number 4 has been retired by Chicago White Sox in his honour.
