The man you mean is Stalin. He was the communist leader of the USSR in WW2. Lenin died before World War 2. Stalin was one of the Big 3 allied leaders. He was responsible for the victory of the eastern front in the European Theater. At the end of the war Stalin refused to let the countries he conquered to return to free democratic nations. He kept them and ruled over them with communism. He was the reason the Cold War started.
