Vince Coleman, who played in the major leagues from 1985 to 1997, is the only player of baseball's modern era to accomplish that feat. He stole 110 bases during his rookie season with the St. Louis Cardinals, and then stole 107 in 1986 and 109 in 1987. He is the only player in baseball history to steal 100-plus bases in each of his first three seasons.
