PAC-10, BEACAUSE ACCORDING TO THE STATS THAT I HAVE VIEWED I HAVE CONCLUDED THAT THEY ARE THE MOST BOST BAD-ASS CONFERENCE IN DIVISION 1 College Football!

California.
At the D1 FBS level (the highest level of college football) there are three schools in New England - Boston College, a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference; the University of Connecticut, a member of the American Athletic Conference; and the University of Massachussets Amherst (UMass), a member of the Mid-American Conference. There are also 11 New England schools at the FCS level, which is also considered Division 1, but not at the same level of competition as the FBS (FCS schools do not play for the major bowl games).
In D1, the lowest paid conference officials make about $800 per game. The SEC is the highest paid, with the officials making about $1600 per game.
