If his knee is healthy than yes, he is better than Kendrick Perkins. In Game 7 The Celtics didn't have Perkins, and the Lakers didn't have Bynum. It's a moot point because they are both the starting centers and so it's even. Perkins is a damn good defender, but not as big of a deal as Bynum.
