Earl Riskey was an Athletic Director at the University of Michigan in the 1930's. He was known for inventing the game of paddleball, from which modern Racquetball developed. With Andrew Kozar and Rodney Grambeau, Riskey wrote "Beginning Paddleball" in the 1960's, the most popular book on the sport, and the source of many racquetball drills in the early days before racquetball specific books were published in the 1970's.
