Ricky Calloway
Steve Alford wore the jersey number 12 during his college basketball career at the University of Indiana. He is best known for his time with the Hoosiers, where he played from 1983 to 1987 and helped lead the team to a national championship in 1987. His number 12 has since been retired by the university in recognition of his contributions to the program.
The Hoosiers beat LSU, 77-76 to advance to the 1987 Final Four.
