No, he did not. In Super Bowl XXIII, Boomer Esiason completed 11 of 25 passes for 144 yards and one interception.
Jerry Rice. Rice caught 3 TD passes in both Super Bowl XXIV and Super Bowl XXIX.
Through Super Bowl XLIII, Doug Williams of the Washington Redskins is the only one. He completed 18 of 29 passes for a then Super Bowl record 340 yards which included an 80 yard pass to Ricky Sanders. He also tied the then Super Bowl record with four touchdown passes as the Redskins went on to win Superbowl XXII in January 1988, with Williams deservedly picking up the MVP. I'm pretty sure Steve McNair one one too.
The 49ers adn Bears both hand 15 win in the Regular Season when winning the Super bowl. The 1972 Miami Dolphins had a perfect 17-0 record and won the super bowl.
