Not sure who has the most fighting majors in a single season but I imagine it was Dave "The Hammer" Schultz. He holds the NHL single season record with 472 PIM in the 1974-1975 season and was considered the toughest of the Broad Street Bullies.

It could also be Krzysztof Oliwa

The answer is Torrie Robertson with the 1985-1986 Hartford Whalers. He had 51 fighting majors that year.

It is hard to determine which goalie had the most fights ever, since fights are not statistics. However, one of the best fights ever occurred in 1998, between Chris Osgood of the Detroit Red Wings vs. Patrick Roy of the Colorado Avalanche.
