It's been done many times, but the most dramatic example probably was Johnny Damon's two steals on one play in Game 4 of the 2009 World Series. Damon's New York Yankees led the Philadelphia Phillies two games to one, but the two teams were tied 4-4 in the top of the ninth inning at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park.
With two outs in the ninth, Damon sparked a Yankees rally with a base hit off Philadelphia reliever Brad Lidge. He then stole second on Lidge's first pitch to Mark Teixeira and then darted to third base when he realized no one was covering it. Lidge then hit Teixeira with a pitch, which enabled Alex Rodriguez to hit an RBI double. After Jorge Posada singled in two more runs, the Yankees went on to a 7-4 win and a three games to one Series lead.
