Well,

I'll say there is a more chance of dying in Rugby.

Because it is a full contact sport, and players weigh around 120KG+, and they play full halves.

Not to mention,

- violent head clashes

- possbilitiy of groin hits

- studs could smash someones face

- shoulder charge
