Steven Redgrave. Matthew Pinsent and Steven Redgrave won gold in coxless pairs at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Games. Pinsent and Redgrave later teamed with James Cracknell and Tim Foster to win gold in coxless fours at the 2000 Games. This was Redgrave's 5th and final Olympic gold medal and put a cap on an outstanding Olympic career as he became the most titled men's rower in Olympic history. At the 2004 Games, Matthew Pinsent won gold again in coxless fours with Cracknell, Ed Coode, and Steve Williams. His four gold medals ranks only behind Redgrave as most gold won by an athlete in men's Olympic rowing competition.
