Probably the guys who paid for the boxers; training, gym, food, the whole nine. A given boxer is an investment, so naturally they go watch the fights, to see if said investement will give them a return. Although a respectable fighting style during the old school era, and although its always been about $$$$$, modern boxing is more a business transaction than ever. You want a promoter to pay for you? Go into his office, destroy the wall with your fist (punch a hole through it without getting hurt), look him in the eye and tell him "I can make you a lot of money." Those are the magic words. Of course if you destroy his office wall, that will come out of your first fight purse! If that doesn't convince him, at least such a display of raw power will get his attention, and he will be curious to see what you can do. Remember, after an amazing, one-of-a-kind display of boxing skill or raw power, the magic words are "I can make you a lot of money." That is what a boxing promoter wants to hear, so, if interested and you think you have what it takes, just cut all the crap, and skip straight to what you can do, and the magic words. One last time, backed up with real skill, the magic words promoters want to hear are "I can make you a lot of money." They're all greedy turds, all of them; so learn to speak their language if you are serious. [[User:67.148.120.72|67.148.120.72]]stardingo747

No it does not go that long it may last three rounds only.
A bout in boxing is the boxing match, or contest. A bout, or match, consists of some predetermined maximum number (generally between 4 and 12) of 3-minute rounds. Each bout will have one winner and one loser, decided according to the rules of the contest.
There are 10 rounds in a championship boxing match... However there has been as many as 110 rounds in years past...
A heavyweight boxing match takes 12 rounds of 3 minutes each. This is however overlooked if one boxer falls down and stays down for more than 30 seconds.
its no man throws a punch and its because its a girl
I may be wrong, but I think there was no limit on the number or rounds in bare knuckle boxing, so that a match would likely end with a knockout. Boxing gloves and round limits were among several additions intended to make boxing more humane.
