I went to the qualifying events and the hometown crown is definitely giving Phil Pfister a boost. Mariusz qualified on top but he injured his leg on the second day of qualifying. On the second event of the day, after pulling the 25 ton log truck down the street, he collapsed at the finish line in extreme pain. I think that puts him at a definite disadvantage although he STILL had the best time of the day.
