In the whole history of MLB, only 8 players have hit "5" extra-base hits in one game! Just getting 5 hits in a game is incredible to achieve, but, when all 'singles' are removed, the feat becomes unbelievably historic! The ones that I know are: Joe Adcock, Lou Boudreau, Wilver Stargell, Steve Garvey, Shawn Green, and the last was Kelly Koppach in 2008. The other two are players from before 1900 and I do not know their names. Sorry, I don't know them, but, maybe you can contact the MLB Archives and discover the names of those two players. Thanks for reading - William Patterson Waxhaw, NC
two players - Ty Cobb and Pete Rose
